Waylan was excellent from start to finish. He was attentive and answered all of our questions leading up to our wedding! He even met with us for a second video call to go over some more details. We really appreciated how much we could customize the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance floor. It was important for our wedding to feel authentic to us, and Waylan took the time to get to know our musical tastes and preferences. Our guests found him to be approachable and they enjoyed being able to request songs. The Photo Booth was also a huge hit! We were able to customize the layout and use our wedding colours. We also added a physical photo book, which allowed guests to include a copy of the photo booth pictures they had taken, as well as a message to us. This will be a great keepsake. In addition to this, Waylan also sent the digital files of all of the Photo Booth photos, so we don't have to worry about losing them. Thank you soooo much, Waylan! :)

Honestly so tuned to the music. Such a great talent and intuition of cutting down song lead times and honestly hitting the mark with every song from the ceremony to the grand entrances to the first dances. We love music that was one of the things that was important to us. You read the room and brought such a great energy to the dance floor. We are so happy we chose Just Grin for our wedding. We had a cocktail style reception and really wanted to have a fun, laid back reception with lots of great music and dancing. OMG! When I first reached our to Waylan about my wedding we went through some basic questions on the phone and then he said "I know this is a hard question, but can you describe your wedding in three words?" I immediately responded with "BEST PARTY EVER" And I kid you not, he delivered exactly what I asked for! I have a large family, and the wedding was approx. 210 people. I have been to plenty of weddings in which the dance floor was empty. That was not my vision. I ordered the "dancing on a cloud" and as much as I loved ever second of it for my first dance, I loved even more seeing my daughter and nephew jumping in the cloud and having a blast.The pictures were have with the cold fireworks/sparklers made ever moment even more magical! We requested the party light up sticks and they were not only fun for the adults but the kids loved it as well!. I fully put my music playlist in Waylan's hands, I asked for anything that kept everyone on the dance floor, and DANG did he deliver with one heck of a playlist! I would also like to add that our family and ourselves are all Windsor residents, were from all over the world, Ontario, Alberta, Germany, etc.. and we all shut down that dance floor! OH and last minute Waylan introduced a new service, the telephone guestbook! We purchased that, and I promise those messages are unreal in comparison to any handwritten notes you can get from family and friends! My husband and I used Just Grin Productions recently at our wedding where we hosted the Mirror Photobooth. It was a fantastic experience for both us and our guests!

We hosted a 3-hour booth and there wasn't a moment that guests were not lined up wanting to take another photo to add to our wedding album. Everyone raved about how fun and quick it was to use the mirror and how they continuously went up time after time to get new photos taken with other family members and friends.

The physical photo album that we received at the end of the night was incredible! It is such the perfect memento for my husband and I and we have thoroughly enjoyed looking back at the picture's multiple times since then. We had so many compliments at the wedding and after of how awesome our DJ was, and we couldn’t agree more! All of my wedding music was perfect.! The sound for the ceremony was a perfect level for the space it was in, the microphone was great to have so everyone could hear our vows. The music level for dinner, and speeches was great and carried through the whole space with no echo, unlike other weddings I have been to. The dancefloor had people dancing all night, and I have heard nothing but positive feedback from our guests how fun our wedding was. I truly believe music and the photobooth brought the party to life after the ceremony was finished. Waylan and JustGrin Productions are true professionals when it comes to DJ services and other wedding services. We were recommended to JustGrin by family members who really loved their music selections at a previous wedding event . We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of additional services JustGrin provided, like wedding coordination , MOC, and lighting. We selected JustGrin as our DJ where they also provided wash lighting for the dance floor and provided ceremony sound and microphone services.

The initial meeting and music preference questionnaires with JustGrin really helped us think about how music selection and presentation matter at a wedding, regardless of the size. At our venue, we got the opportunity to have Waylan be part of our wedding day. He was proactive, responsive and courteous to our guests and other vendors. We were at a wedding and happened to be looking for a DJ for my wedding, so we hired him! After the first email, Allan was also prompt in his communication with us (even when he was out of country for two months). We didn’t even notice he had his equipment set up for the ceremony as he hid it so well as this was one wish we had. Waylan knew that my sister in law and her husband would be at our wedding. He also played at their wedding over 5 years ago, so he dug deep in his archives and made sure to play their wedding song! Such a personal touch!

My wife and I hired Just Grin productions and we couldn’t have been happier. Waylan was wonderful. Things we didn’t even think about and were not expecting he knew would come up and mentioned it to us before it happened so we could be prepared. One thing I loved was when someone asked him about doing an unplanned speech he came over to us to ask if it was ok. He said he could have it “slip” his mind if we didn’t want it to happen and he would end up taking the blame from that party goer instead of having my wife or I say no. That was much appreciated! He also helped when our photographer cancelled on us. We were scrambling a bit to figure out who to choose and whether or not they would be booked or not. Through his network he found some photographers that had our wedding day open and passed along their information. Going out of their way to help us out and do some of the legwork for us was truly appreciated. As if you can’t already tell I can’t recommend them enough. They exceeded all of our expectations.

Waylan is simply the best!!! We were living overseas while planning the wedding and he made it so easy for us having everything setup online for the modern and on-the-go bride. Between all the details to payments, it was never daunting to get anything done. Top notch, very professional and accommodating, you won't find a better DJ or wedding planner out there. I (the bride) was 2 hours late for the wedding due to highway being closed due to an accident. Waylan is an expert in his field and you can tell he truly breathes and lives DJ life. We were extremely honoured that he said yes when we made the huge request for him to travel all the way to Jamaica to DJ our wedding. Why didn't we just get someone from there to do it? Waylan Grin was the perfect addition to our wedding process. Leading up to the wedding he had no trouble acquiring our not entirely normal musical requests and editing out extra verses in a couple of longer parent dance songs. He flawlessly accommodated a night before change due to live instruments. He provided great ambient music as well as special moment songs throughout the day and night. He was also our MC and his quality was excellent and without any pronunciation issues. His attire was classy and matched extremely well with our colours. The head table lighting looked great, as well as the dance floor lighting and the surprise light sticks were a huge hit. Waylan kept the music flowing and the people dancing all night and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking to amp up their event without losing an arm and a leg in the process.

We couldn't have had anyone better providing our DJ services. He truly takes extreme care with all the minor details. My wife and I have some different music tastes and he was able to work some of my less family friendly songs (Eminem) into the dinner service by finding a classy instrumental that no one noticed they were listening to a rap song. It was easy to see that he worked hard to shape the night into what we wanted and had discussed during our meetings. Waylan went the extra mile for our MC, he was quite nervous but Waylan took the time to reach out and contact him and provide advice and suggestions that took a weight off his shoulders. I am very big on dancing and having the right music, so when it came to my wedding night Waylan played music that fit the crowd and changed it up to get everyone on the dance floor. Often times when you attend a wedding or Stag and Doe you hear the same party songs, such as YMCA, over and over again, but that was not the case with Crossed Wires DJ Services. Waylan and Allan were able to read the crowd and make song selections that kept both of our parties going strong until the end of the night. They were willing to accept song requests from ourselves prior to the events and from our guests during the events, and they made sure that these songs were seamlessly incorporated into our evenings. They adhered to our requests that certain music (such as Elvis) not be played even when the Father of the Bride tried to convince them otherwise! At both events, they were professional and courteous. They arrived early for set up and they ensured that they had all of the necessary equipment for the best sound quality. They were able to achieve the perfect level of sound that our guests were able to dance and have fun without being overpowered by the music. Our friends and family still talk about how much fun they had at our wedding reception and that is a direct result of the quality DJ service we had. We could not have asked for a better DJ service for both of our events.
