Jennifer Maxwell, The Wedding Coach, shared a post back in 2016 and it’s still relevant today. The entertainment at your wedding is the backbone that your reception is built on. Cocktail music & dinner music isn’t just “background music” – it’s setting the stage & pouring the foundation for a great wedding reception. At Just Grin Productions we take things very seriously. After all, our clients trust us with one of the most memorable aspects of their wedding. We don’t just put on a playlist and walk-away. As professional entertainers we are constantly helping control the flow of the event to work towards the outcome that our couples have been dreaming of for a long time.

When it comes to entertainment, you really do get what you pay for. We believe that couples should consider the entertainer that they hire as a form of “insurance policy” for the big investment in their wedding day. When you book with a truly professional entertainer, you are not just paying for music for a few hours or a bunch of DJ equipment, you’re paying for their experience, their accountability, your own peace of mind, and so much more. A great entertainer can definitely make all the difference.
At Just Grin Productions, we want to make sure that your event is a fun, stress-free, memorable experience for you & your guests! We focus heavily on professional development so that we are constantly learning and becoming better for our clients.
I know that I’m biased, but the entertainment is integral in helping create lasting memories. We’re all about helping create experiences & memories that last a lifetime. Packed dance floors and smiles from ear-to-ear is what we aim for.
Based on our experience, there are three main things that your guests will remember from a wedding: the bride, the food and the entertainment. We’d love to be part of that for you.
Sincerely,
Waylan

Thanks Waylan, for including me in your post! I couldn’t agree more. As a planner for more than a decade, I can say with certainty that having a great celebration is the entire purpose of bringing everyone together. If you don’t invest in your entertainment/host of the event, all you’ve really got is an expensive dinner party – which is fine if that’s what you’re going for, but there are other ways to accomplish that. Aim for the celebration of your life, and do it well. Cheers!
Thanks for sharing your expertise, Jennifer! We totally agree with your perspective. It would be a great honour to to work with you someday!
