At Just Grin Productions we do a lot of work in the Chatham-Kent area, but we’re also trying to expand our presence in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Last weekend we had to opportunity to play a small part in Cathy & Vince’s wedding at the Waterloo Region Museum in Kitchener.

Their wedding ceremony was held in The Grand Foyer and was officiated by Martti Pajunen of Kettle Creek Weddings. The space looked amazing with décor by Fresh Look Design, chairs & tables from Edelweiss and flowers by Petals & Pots.

Following the ceremony, Cathy & Vince went with Gary of Gary Evans Photography which The Grand Foyer was flipped for the reception. Guests were invited into the adjacent hallway for drinks and hors d’hoeuvres. Once the room had been completely transformed, the guests were invited back into The Grand Foyer for the reception.

Once the newlyweds and the wedding party returned from pictures, it was time for the grand entrance. I had the privilege of serving as Cathy & Vince’s Master of Ceremonies for the reception so I introduced them as well as took care of the flow of the evening while working hand-in-hand with Edelweiss to ensure smooth transitions.

Berlin Bicycle Café was on-site providing some delicious beverages and Edelweiss took care of the dinner, dessert and the bar. Cathy & Vince snuck out with Gary Evans for some sunset pictures when the time was just right.

Following dinner & dessert we heard some great speeches from the best men, matron of honour, mother of the bride, father of the groom, and of course, Cathy & Vince. It was then time for the formal dances and to get the party started!

With a mix of all genres including Italian & Portuguese music (except country music) Cathy & Vince’s guests danced the night away.
