It is going to be a busy week at Just Grin Productions. This weekend we are providing staging, trussing, lighting, a sound system for Ryan Bradley and DJ services for St. Clair College’s Pigfest, their biggest event of the year!
Saturday I have one meeting in Chatham & two meetings in Kitchener with two couples to discuss their 2017 and 2018 weddings. John Lyons & I are also doing a Facebook Live event dealing with social media in the wedding industry.
Sunday I travel to Niagara Falls to participate in the National President’s Council meeting for the Canadian Disc Jockey Association along with ten other chapter presidents and the Board of Directors.
From Monday to Wednesday I’ll be attending Bill Hermann’s Entertainment Experience workshop in Hamilton. Professional development is very important at Just Grin Productions. We are constantly learning to become better for our customers. We are always striving to set the bar higher. We want our customers to expect more from their entertainment service. Unique weddings for great couples – EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. ‘Average’ doesn’t cut it at Just Grin Productions. That’s why I enrolled in “The Entertainment Experience: A bold new approach to live presentation and performance”.
Thursday & Friday I’ll be in Chatham setting up & programming the lighting for the Festival of Giving to be ready for over 1,100 guests on Saturday. According to the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent (the events primary beneficiary), “this year’s Festival of Giving, Shipwrecked, will deliver all the sights, sounds and tastes of castaway life, with top-notch entertainment you do knot want to miss!”
Sunday is reserved for tearing down the festival and getting reorganized after such a busy week! Wish me luck!
